Prior to engaging in any strenuous activity, whether it is strength training, conditioning or practice, it is imperative to properly prepare your body as a precautionary measure to avoid over-stress related injuries. A proper warm-up begins with some type of activity, like light jogging or rope jumping, to raise the body’s core temperature and deep muscle temperature. Flexibility is key to avoiding injury by increasing joint range of motion. There is often confusion between stretching and flexibility as if they are the same.

Teaching Explosive-Power Lifts |
The foundation of all successful strength programs will be the ability of the athletes to perform explosive lifts. These lifts will have a direct impact on your speed training sessions along with conditioning and overall performance enhancement. Obviously the purpose of performing these lifts is to teach the body who to create force through the ground. This is the force needed to accelerate effectively and used during sprint training.
